After a quiet day to ourselves yesterday, it was a bit of a change to be part of a group of 56 this morning! Everyone seems to be pretty lively considering the huge journey they have just made - and yes, you´ve guessed it, they too were fed coca tea the minute they arrived!
We have managed to speak to quite a few people already and as expected a real mixture of interesting people, which will make the trip better of course. We are slightly embarrassed that everyone had been told about us before they arrived - so we are now known as the newlyweds whether we like it or not!
That´s all for another week - we have a pre trek briefing at 6 this evening, then we´re on the move tomorrow. We´ll let you know how it went in about a week.

Dear Cath and Andrew.
Have just spent 20 wonderful minutes in the company of your blog. Thanks so much. I really love your understatements and English humour!! Hope your trip continues on the same intesting lines... Once again, congratulations, Lene
With posh accomodation, luxury transport and flights over the Nazca lines, it is great you are putting all that sponsorship money to good use! Only joking of course - it all looks wonderful and you both appear very happy and relaxed (drop the hat though I'd suggest).
Happy trekking,
John & Varsha
