We´re back from the mountains!

Just a very quick post to let everyone know that we made it back in one piece! The grins on the photos are definitely disguising the pain - both are taken at approx 4400m altitude after very steep climbs. Extremely hard work but worth it for the stunning views and massive sense of achievement. More details to follow - at the moment we are suffering from very little sleep due to camping in the freezing cold for the past few nights, and partying far too hard when we got back into town last night! Out for dinner with the rest of the group before they head off early tomorrow and then it´s just us again so will pass on some more info before we leave for Arequipa tomorrow night.

Also, thank you for all your kind words about my new hat - it´s pretty much compulsory to wear silly headgear here and my ears haven´t dropped off so definitely worth it. As you can see we were suitably stylish on the trek too...

Lots of love
Cath & Andrew

Congratulations!!! We are both thoroughly envious of you both ... though saying that we probably aren't up for any steep climbs right now considering we just had pizza and Ben & Jerry's ice cream (Mark is protesting this with me ... but I at least admit it).

Take care of yourselves and continue blogging ... it's great to hear your news.

Lots of love
