I thought you might be amused (unless you were on the trek in which case you won´t like me much) to hear that on the second night of camping I managed to sleep through a pack of dogs (estimates vary from 10-30) howling through the night. Needless to say a few people woke up!
Since then, on our overnight bus to Arequipa, I have slept through a loud film and an entire game of bingo. Yes, bingo. Ryan you would have loved it I´m sure.
Off for a snooze now!

Yes Bingo is just a tax on the poor and stupid.
Or the elderly who don't understand the value of money.
More appropriate for me to comment on your ability to sleep, I think, as it is just such a special gift to have passed on. Blow all the good looks, luscious dimples, spakling wit etc, if you can't close yourself down from the world completely you can't survive!Momma is legendary for her ability to cut herself off and sleep for England. Great that this is all standing you in good stead - the rest of the trip will be just a walk in the park after what you have just accomplished.
Feel really sad for all the people who couldn't make the climb 'though.
Will Ryan make smiley comments one day soon do you think?

Sorry Mrs Cath - I was vexed with the world when I made my comments about Bingo being a sad symptom of the malaise of 21st Century economc reality. I'm sure sure that Bingo at altitude counts as an extreme sport though ;-)
